A former Minister of Police Affairs, Gen.David Jemibewon, a former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Chief Bayo Ojo and 14 leaders of Kogi West Elders Forum have endorsed Governor Yahaya Bello for second term in office.They also said they opted to back Bello based on his pledges to protect lives and property; pay workers’ salaries and to complete all ongoing projects in Kogi West District.

The communique of the elders reads: “Consequent upon the sensitization of the views of critical stakeholders in the District and subsequent meeting with the Governor of the State, His Excellency Alh Yahaya Bello, at the Kogi state liaison office on Sunday, October 7, 2019 in Abuja, the Kogi West Elders Forum , a body of non-partisan community leaders which comprises accomplished individuals in their various fields, has reviewed the current political, social and economic developments in Kogi...

“That the Forum will, going forward, engage in regular interactions with the government in order to achieve the aspiration of the people of Western Senatorial District.
