Insecurity: Obasanjo tells Nigerians to cry to God for solutions

Obasanjo admitted that Nigerians as well as leaders at all levels were overwhelmed by the current challenges in the land.He said this on Saturday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, when he spoke during the 16th edition of Prayer Breakfast held virtually and organised in his honour by the Christians Association of Nigeria, Ogun State chapter.

It is a pity that power corrupt, Obasanjo gave us this Democracy, He(Obasanjo) had all the chances he could to give us a better nation but what you don't prepare for will definitely failed you... If he had given us a good Democracy, probably we wouldn't be where we are today

Very respectfully, Obasanjo is wrong. The solution for Nigeria's insecurity is not in God's hands. It is in good and effective governance. No amount of blackmailing God and the hapless masses of Nigerians will remove that primary responsibility from those opportuned to lead.

When Isreal was attacked, they do not go down on their knees to ask God to fight for them. They stood against their enemies and fought them back. Why must Nigerians cry to God for solutions when they know where their problem lies.
