The babies, three males and a female, who were reportedly delivered through Caesarean Section (CS) were in good health when journalists visited them with the members of the Louis Carter Foundation Nigeria NigerianPhilantropist

A Nnewi-born industrialist and philanthropist, Chief Louis Izuchukwu Carter Onwugbenu, has continued to restore hope to parents of quintuplets and quadruplets in the Southeast geo-political zone of the country with the adoption of a new set quadruplets as part of his 66th birthday anniversary.

The philanthropist had earlier suspended activities earmarked for his birthday celebration, when his attention was drawn to the plight of the babies and their parents. He quickly dashed down to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Anambra State, where the babies were delivered and offset their medical bills. He also settled the medical bills of 13 other families amounting to about N2 million during the visit.

Their father, Mr Ekene Ibe, who hails from Mbaitoli community in Imo State expressed gratitude to God for the gift of the children and also thanked Onwugbenu for his timely intervention. “Actually, we were told from the result of the scan conducted in one of the hospitals in Nnewi that the babies were three but to my greatest surprise they turned out to be four and that really threw me off balance.”Onwugbenu said he extended the gesture to the family as the latest addition to his Louis Carter Foundation because it gives him extra joy to restore hope to others and to glorify God Almighty for his blessings on him and his family.
