The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Ihedioha of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party winner of the March 9 gubernatorial election in the state.
Among the parties were the Peoples Party of Nigeria , Mass Movement of Nigeria , Advanced Congress of Democrats , Freedom and Justice Party , Save Nigeria Congress , Nigerian Peoples Congress and Democratic Alternative. The Spokesman of the parties and National Deputy Chairman of PPN, Chief Chinedu Ukadike, disclosed this while addressing newsmen in Owerri on Wednesday.
