The most widely read newspaper in Nigeria

popularly known as Humblesmith, has said that contrary to what some think that he took a break from the music industry, he has actually been working and ‘waiting for God’s time’.“There is no truth in the claims that I have been under the radar. God has got my back and He has been preparing me for a bigger stage. When he is done, the world will dance to my tune. I never went under the radar. I have actually been making music, learning new things, believing and waiting for God’s time.

Sharing his thoughts on the quality of songs released nowadays, Ijemba said, “The new generation of artistes is very creative, productive, dogged and smart. There is nothing new under the sun but today’s artistes have been able to redefine the afro sound and I find that amazing. I am proud to belong to this new generation.”
