Mr Ekpo’s claim contravenes section 66 subsection 1 of the Local Government Administration Law of Akwa Ibom State which says that “all funds of the local government shall be paid into the account of the local government” before they are expended on any item.
I doubt that the HoA has that power. The LG has its own legislative arm which are the councilors. House of Rep cannot give instruction to a state governor. When you shout restructuring....i say we should allow the current structure work then we can begin to ask for change.
