A pro-democracy, research and policy group, Centre for Democracy and Development, has called for stronger institutions in Nigeria and urged the citizens to embrace peace.

The group, in a statement titled, ‘Nigeria at 61: CDD Congratulates Nigerians, reiterates the importance of strong institutions, peaceful coexistence,’’ and signed by its director, Idayat Hassan, said the complexity of the challenges required the support of every Nigerian for a sustainable solution.
