Grazing reserves: Ortom threatens legal action against Buhari - Punch Newspapers

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on Sunday, said he would take the President, Major General Muhammad Buhari , to court if he insisted on grazing reserve.

Ortom had on Friday criticised the Buhari over his insistence to revive the grazing reserve despite massive opposition against it. The governor on Sunday insisted that the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria superseded the Northern Nigeria Law that provided for grazing reserves. When asked what step would he take if the President insisted on going ahead, Ortom said, “Already, I have briefed my lawyers to start the process. I will challenge it in court and I believe I will get judgment.

“The truth is that if the entire country had accepted ranching; then why is Mr President insisting on open grazing when there is no land for such.

Sound cool … waiting to see

Is he not the one who once said that he would give land to fulani? that benue and fulani are brothers. Oya naa, why running from your words?

Should it be Ortom or Southern Governors? Sanwoolu has not said a word about this. A house divided amongst itself shall not stand.

Buhari has never wanted to be a Nigerian president, he wanted the presidency to recover what he thought he lost during his coup to overthrow Shagari and to help his clan-men to gain some prominence

Buhari is a Cow

Does legal actions work in the zoo? Judiciary in the zoo have been rendered conscienceless

Lest we forget, today is 22nd day of the month.... Salaries would be due in few days. Ortom is at it again

Wrong move. Legal action is a banana Republic? No justice in Nigeria. Judgements and majority of the judges are for sale to the highest bidder.

In which court? 😢😢😢

On points.......

Tanko is waiting at the supreme coury

Except if na God go judge am, these Judges under Tanko Mohammed are not to be trusted. After all, they do go for dinners at Aso rock. Use juju against their cows like it happened in Ondo last year where 36 of them were struck by Thunder, who will they hold for dat?

Thank you Governor Ortom…Buhari’s “analog” while you’re “digital” BuhariMustGo
