DAILY POST had reported that the Almajiri boy was last Saturday lured to a desolate place with another boy by an unknown person with a pledge to give them food but instead smashed the skill of the deceased with a big stone and removed his brain.
The governor, who was represented by the state Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Umar Babayo Kesa, pledged to collaborate with security agencies to fish out the culprit and mete out the appropriate sanction against him to serve as a deterrent to others. While condoling the family of the deceased and the Qur’an teacher, the governor prayed to Allah to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
