Gombe crash claims two, one hospitalised - Punch Newspapers

17 September 2021No fewer than two persons have been confirmed dead with one other hospitalised in a fatal accident around Meluku, along the Yola-Gombe Expressway.The Public Relations Officer of the Gombe State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Janet Kassa, said the incident occurred following break failure and speeding.
Kassa added that the incident had one survivor recuperating at the Gombe State Specialist Hospital.She said, “The accident involved two articulated vehicles and claimed two lives along Yola road. Speeding and loss of control are likely to be the reasons for the accident.”
