The Federal University of Technology, Minna has been chosen as the only specialized University in Nigeria to establish African Centre of Excellence for mycotoxin and food safety .
He stated that out of the 16 universities chosen in Nigeria, the FUT Minna is the only specialized university and the only one to specialize on Mycotoxin and food safety. The Special guest of honour at the inauguration meeting of the centre that attracted scholars from within and outside the country, is the wife of Niger state Governor, Dr Amina Abubabakar Sani Bello who underscored the importance of food safety.
