More than 24 hours after a new pump price band for Premium Motor Spirit was announced by the Federal Government, many fuel stations in parts of the country sold the product at the old price of N125 per litre on Tuesday.
It was also observed that many fillings stations in Abuja and its environs dispensed petrol at the old. Owners of filling stations on Tuesday declared that the reduction of petrol price as stated in the new guidelines released by the Federal Government would not be immediate, as many outlets still had old stock.
“This is not going to take one hour, it is going take a few days, but not one month. And, of course, not three weeks, but at least a few days to get it done.” IPMAN, Kano chapter, has, however, instructed the association’s members to immediately comply with the advice of the government on the new price regime.
Does it mean the directive is of no effect Does it mean there are no operatives to effect it Does it mean that ?

The slash doesn't make any meaning to consumers. You are indirectly enriching the retailers. 2 reduction can't be effective. Forget about it. It's either120 or 110. Round up the number period. All these kobo and Kobo can't work in this country
How much was removed from the depot price again someone should remind me. The first time is was slashed from 133. Something kobo to 113. So so kobo. So how much was it slashed from 113?

What do you expect, when there's a downward review of price it takes time to adjust but once there's an upward review, they start selling immediately
