24 January 2022The Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun State, has said over 300 lives were lost in various road accidents in the state in 2021.The Public Education Officer, FRSC, Ogun State, Florence Okpe, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.Okpe explained that 1,200 people were involved in the road accidents, adding that over 200 vehicles were affected.

She noted that speed violation accounted for over 77 per cent of the accidents.The FRSC official revealed that Sienna vehicles, also referred to as space buses, had high involvement in the crashes.Okpe said, “The year 2021 was characterised by an upsurge in road traffic crashes in Ogun State.

Get ambulances and train ur men on first aid. Ogun state roads are very bad, I wonder if truly vehicles can 'over speed' on these roads. They will embezzle the funds meant for it When your radar gun detects high speed are you going to chase them on the useless roads we have? You can't ticket them thereafter because you don't have a database Good luck to those who planned this heist

The issue is this FRSCNigeria ogun state chapter needs to work seriously on drivers license. Most especially, the motorcycles (okada) Tricycles (maruwa) and public transports ( taxi). Speed limits is too much. Most especially on newly constructed roads/highways
