The Zard Holdings, and its subsidiaries, Kopek, Sweetco and Zartech have donated 100 beds and hospital equipment worth about N20million to the Oyo State government to fight the spread of coronavirus.

The Group Property Manager of Zard Holdings, Prince Taiwo Oriowo who handed over the equipment to the government through the Oyo State Head of COVID-19 Task Force and the former Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital , Ibadan, Professor Temitope Alonge said the companies donated the equipment as part of corporate social responsibilities.

According to him, the companies have decided to continue supporting government at all levels in their quest to end the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Appreciating the companies for their generous donation, Prof Alonge commended the companies, saying “the governor is concerned about the well-being of the people of Oyo State.”
