Finland’s Social Democrats elected a 34-year-old former transport minister to the post of prime minister on Sunday, making her the youngest head of government in the country’s history.

Sanna Marin narrowly won Sunday’s vote to replace outgoing leader Antti Rinne, who resigned on Tuesday after losing the confidence of the coalition partner Centre Party over his handling of a postal strike.

“I have never thought about my age or gender, I think of the reasons I got into politics and those things for which we have won the trust of the electorate.” Former PM Antti Rinne had headed Finland’s centre-left five-party coalition since June, and Marin’s appointment is unlikely to lead to significant policy changes by the Social Democrat-led administration. The SDP won April’s legislative elections on promises to end years of economic belt-tightening introduced by the Centre Party to lift Finland out of a recession.

Nigerian brand of politics is age-long. Aside from corruption, tribalism, nepotism and ineptitude, they'll rather die than retire..!

Is Nigeria actually a nation? What system of governance do we practice? One can't say whether we're in military cum civil regime like the 1990s or is baba completing his 1983 military quota? Even as a business, Nigeria is not an organized Enterprise. It's worst than even Somalia

There's a very big problem with the way the average Nigerian youth is raised : this is the problem . Even if he's the son of the best technocrat or Forbes acclaimed world billionaire or son of the gateman who has seen so much suffering, he will still not be able to deliver

Orji Uzo Kalu and Yahaya Bello were both in their primes when they first set out to be governors . These became the worst nightmare of governance known.

God when?

But in Nigeria, our case is different. This is not hate speech o, I just love Winner's Chapel😂😂😂

But in Nigeria the uneducated northern abokis are clamouring for tyrant MBuhari. freeSoworeNow

Oh my country is recycling the elders and they claim the future for the youth and young one is yet to come .. What a shame ..

And our “President’s” real age is 85. Nigeria is stuck in the past! MBuhari, it’s high time you stepped down

Meanwhile the Nigerian ambassador to the US is about to sneeze and blow his hip off hahaha

Bad news for MBuhari and his supporters. Stone age president with dead brain.

But Nnamdi Kanu, although in his early fifties, is still being regarded as 'that small boy'

Nigeria see your mate

Naturally, the youth are leaders of tomorrow, while in Nigeria the elders are the leaders of; yesterday, today, tomorrow and next...

In d case of Nigeria, we still have our ancestors in leadership
