The Federal Government says it is proposing to extend the subsidy removal implementation period by another 18 months.

According to him, the extension will give all stakeholders time to ensure that the implementation is carried out in a manner that ensures all necessary modalities are in place to cushion the effect of the PMS subsidy removal, in line with prevailing economic realities. “We believe that this will go to the legislature, we are applying for amendment of the law so that we would still be within the law.

Why una wicked like this🤕......ask for my aza abeg oo

Hmmm this country is a joke

Great news, this would give us time to build our economy, though the IMF who are responsible for directing the govt to remove subsidy, will not stop insisting we remove it but we should thank the govt for negotiating its postponement.

We dont want extension we want credible solution that will bring stability to the system..not to extend because of 2023election

Thank you, it might be advisable after election, sha! My suggestion …🦅🦅🦅

Removal of oil subsidy will continue to be a problem so long our refineries are not working. Price is not constant in the international market, as the exchange rate keeps changing so does the price of fuel and exporting crude to get it refined, fuel price will never be stable.

This supposed plan was to take effect this February. But viola, campaign is here,,,implementing it will be a chink in the armour in APC campaign plans. Woe the while.
