FCT to Host Miss Africa Beauty Contest

The Federal Capital Territory Administration will host the Miss Africa Pageant to promote tourism, empower African women and discourage indecent dress culture.

They were received yesterday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja by the Secretary, FCT Social Development Secretariat, Mrs Hadiza Kabir. Kabir, who was represented by the Director, Administration and Finance of the secretariat, Dr. Kevin Ike, added that the objective of the event was to bring the youth of Africa to interact with the youths in the FCT in order to champion youth empowerment, employment generation, wealth creation and value reorientation.
