This followed a riot by students who protested Tuesday morning over the lack of water around the campus.

Sources said the students went wild over water scarcity and the school management reacted by shutting down the school. Registrar of the college, Mallam Ahmad Gidado, told newsmen that the water scarcity was caused by the breakdown of the main industrial borehole supplying water to the entire school. “We made all the necessary moves, only to wake up to see students rioting this morning,” Gidado said.
