The Indigenous People of Biafra has again confirmed Tuesday as a day for sit-at-home in the South-East.

Confirming its stand on the order, the group’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, on Sunday, said, “Following our leader’s upcoming court proceedings on January 18, 19 and 20, 2022, we wish to remind Biafrans that there will be only sit-at-home on January 18 and not 19 and 20. The Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C-Don Adinuba, told our correspondent on Sunday that the government is not aware of any sit-at-home and that people should ignore it.

An Onitsha resident, Mrs Comfort Nnachi, a civil servant, expressed her excitement, saying that the exercise would enable her rest very well and carry out some house chores.

😂😂😂... Funny thing, this is how you turn people against IPOB, It's by weaponizing hunger. The people will rise against IPOB when hunger hits then the people will later shout out that IPOB are terrorizing them with their sit at home. Hunger always humbles people

The government is for the people and not always the people for the government. Get that straight

Punch if you dey anambra you will still sit your ass at home that day. Simple

Anambra fumes my ass...may your lies chock you

The only people fuming are local criminals with Abuja ties

You have to stay in your house 💪🏻💪🔥🙏
