Family, friends and well wishers of the late Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye, showered him encomiums at the evening of tributes held in Ikeja GRA Lagos on Wednesday.
Some of the dignitaries present at the service were the Secretary General of National Democratic Commission, Mr Ayo Opadokun; Lt. General Alani Akinlade , the representative of the Awujale of Ijebuland, as well as the Council of Ijebu Chiefs, Chief Sanni Folorunsho; Senator Olalekan Mustapha, and Ovation magazine publisher, Mr Dele Momodu and his wife, Mobolaji.
The Governor of Ogun State, Mr Dapo Abiodun, who was represented by his deputy, Mrs Noimot Oyedele, said, “Chief Durojaiye was a well respected son of Ogun State and his passing is a monumental loss to us. He had wisdom, knowledge and we thank God for a life well spent.”
