WHO earlier raised an outcry on global shortages of face masks and protective suits for caregivers hampered by the coronavirus

Mr Ryan said the shortage of the items is putting the frontline caregivers at risk of the virus.

“Right now the people most at risk from this virus are frontline health workers who are exposed to the virus every second of every day.The pandemic is having a heavy toll on doctors and health caregivers. Over 3, 000 doctors have been infected in China while 60 doctors have died from the contagion in Italy.

Currently, some people in the most hit countries are sewing masks to help the government to cushion the impact of the pandemic. Meanwhile, another WHO official, Maria Van Kerkhove, harped on the need to prioritise the use of masks for those who need it most— frontline health care workers.“In the community, we do not recommend the use of wearing masks unless you yourself are sick and as a measure to prevent onward spread from you if you are ill.

“The masks that we recommend are for people who are at home and who are sick and for those individuals who are caring for those people who are home that are sick,” MsVan Kerkhove said.

I wear mask and I will continue to wear. I can't risk it, one cough or sneeze, it's in

The information has been there all along. It’s Nigerians who are not reading or listening. Face mask is for medical personnel only and those already infected by the virus.

Wahala!!!

Conflicting signals everywhere. So Bill Gates' WHO wants us all to contract coronavirus

What kind of evil message is WHO promoting. Please don't listen to them. Check out nntaleb and see what he's said about this obviously misleading direction.

WHO make up Ya mind. Use mask small time no use mask. Shuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu................

Adongerit, what's all this?

Same WHO dt said corona doesn't transmit from human to human

It is the medical team that are best equipped to use this. I also see people using hand gloves. What WHO expects is for us to wash our hands regularly. If you use the same hand glove to open a car and touch many things and then you use it on your face then the risk increases.

This entire piece is self contradictory.

Again?🙆🙆

Hmmmm

What if by tomorrow April 1st , China, USA , Italy, Nigeria and other World leaders just shouted 'April fool' that the Corona Virus is a prank 😀
