Lateef Ladoja, the Special assistant on traditional matters to a former governor of Oyo State, Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja is dead.Ladoja who is the current Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland was the Governor of Oyo State between 2003 and 2007.He reportedly died as a result of gunshot wounds he sustained during an accidental discharge.
The incident occurred after the installation of Gbadamosi Dauda Olaniyi as Mogaji Abidiodan, Itutaba, Oje, Ibadan.Media aide to the former governor, Mr. Lanre Latinwo, confirmed the death of the deceased to DAILY POST on Wednesday.“Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1, members of Olubadan-in- Council and some other chiefs have sent their condolences to Osi Olubadan and the entire Ladoja’s family on the death of their loved one”.
