Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa’i on Friday held meeting with heads of security agencies in the state and other major stakeholders to find lasting peace in Kajuru community where scores were killed within the week.
Barde, who is a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, said governor El-rufai is taking all security measures to bring peace to the area: “The governor is taking all security measures to tackle the security situation. The governor is giving all the support to the security agencies to return peace to the area”Also speaking, Commissioner of police, Kaduna state command, Umaru Muri, said more security operatives have been deployed to the area and situation there has been brought under control.
“My advise to the community is that, reprisal attacks will not solve the problem and we are warning the community against reprisal attacks for peace to rain.” Muri said.
