e State-owned Broadcasting outfit, BSES, a two-week ultimatum to correct all defects in the rehabilitation works and complete the job.
Aare Olumilua gave the ultimatum over the weekend, during an unscheduled visit to the station to assess the progress of the ongoingOlumilua who expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of work done warned that the State Government would neither accept, nor pay for shoddy jobs. The Commissioner cautioned officials of the State Ministry of Works and Transportation supervising the job, against compromising standards, stressing that they would be held responsible for their actions concerning the supervision of the BSES project.
Congratulating the management and staff of BSES for the facelift of the station by the Fayemi-led administration, Olumilua, however, urged them to see the project as a collective responsibility, stressing the need for them to ensure that the contractors perform up to expectation and do their job to specification.
