Two suspected fraudsters have been arrested in Ondo State by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

One of the suspected fraudsters was arrested in Akure, the State capital over his alleged involvement in internet scam popularly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’. The second suspect who claimed to be an Engineer was also acc of financial fraud running into millions of naira. The EFCC officials who reportedly arrived in Akure following intelligence arrested the suspects at different locations within the metropolis.

Following the arrest, the suspects were moved to ‘A’ Division Police Station before being whisked to the EFCC Ibadan zonal office, Oyo State.
