A cross-section of residents spoke to members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists , who were in Keffi on Sunday in continuation of a state-wide tour to inspect projects executed by the state government.
Malam Mohammed Shaibu, State Trustee of the National Union of Road Transport Workers , commended the governor for the gesture describing it as a legacy project. Also, Iyal Hassan, a commercial driver, described the project as a welcome development and thanked the governor for prioritising the interest of the people through projects with a direct bearing on their lives.
“I am optimistic that the rate of crashes would reduce and we will record a lot of progress in Keffi when the work is completed,” she added.
