DSS disowns ex-director’s comment on Pantami

The Department of State Service , on Thursday dismissed comments made by its former Assistant Director, Dennis Amachree, on how the embattled Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, scaled the screenings of the secret police before his confirmation as minister in 2019.

This is a colossal failure of the DSS and DennisBuguma as well. He was part of the DSS when Pantami was confirmed. If the senate failed to heed the DSS recommendation (whatever that was), why is the public learning of this now and not then?
