Nigerians, on Twitter, have asked the National Assembly to override President Muhammadu Buhari on the Electoral Bill. FixElectionsNG

The National Assembly had transmitted the electoral act amendment bill to the president for assent, on November 19, 2021.The president, however, withheld assent to the bill, stating that the clause recommending direct primary for political parties “violates the spirit of democracy”.

It's the truth, the national assembly have every right to do what the majority say.. Lucky Dube said too much power on one man is dangerous. Democracy is delegated power. The president is very shallow in his reasoning towards the direct primaries... My take.
