RIVERS State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has said that some anti-democratic forces were still plotting against Rivers State ahead of the 2023 elections.The governor made these remarks on Saturday during the funeral service in honour of the late Dr Ferry Gberegbe, the Khana LGA PDP governorship election agent, allegedly murdered by FSARS' personnel at Bori collation centre during the 2019 general election.
"They said they will write results and the court will accept the results. I said Rivers State is a different state. If you write results, you face the consequences. I am not worried because these people are always boasting. He called on Nigerians to insist on defending their votes despite the devices of security forces working with anti-democratic agents to manipulate elections.
If there is anything i have learnt so far about Wike (1) he talks way too much but (2) he speaks the truth.
Is there anytime wey enemies no de plot against your rivers state? It is only in your state wey dem de get perpetual injunction not to be investigated even if dey commit murder?
