Davido’s Public Relations Officer, Aladegbola Oluwasegun, popularly known as IamDre, has debunked claims that the globally acclaimed singer uses his generosity as a promotional stunt.

In a chat with Weekend Beats, the PR expert said Davido’s generosity has been a constant feature in his lifestyle, clearing controversies on the singer’s recent N250 million donation to Nigerian orphanages.

“The N250 million was never a PR stunt. It is his lifestyle. Davido jokingly made a video saying he has been uplifting people and it was high time they did the favour. All of a sudden he posted his bank details on his story and the game was on standstill. David was trending globally. That’s the power of OBO Lifestyle. At this point David is bigger than PR.”

He noted: “Now, most things that happen on the internet are PR’ed. We shape the industry and keep it flying higher. PR plays a major role in the game.
