Edem Edem emerged alongside Comrade Victor Odu Chairman, Oka Ibor Secretary and Benson White as Treasurer.
Inaugurating the new executive council on Monday at the Earnest Etim-Bassey Press Center in Calabar, the National President however called on the newly re-elected executive to work assiduously in ensuring that there was peace in the council, “This was the only way the council would progress” Odu said life was too short for anyone to bear animosity in his heart because he learnt a lot in his first tenure, which had prepared him for greater responsibility subsequently.
“This tenure, I intend to touch the lives of the majority of our members and we are open to constructive criticism but not blackmail. We must strengthen our relationship with the government and other agencies to enhance the activities of the council”, he said.
