Nigeria has been excluded from the first set of beneficiaries of the World Bank’s COVID-19 Emergency Health Support programme, which is aimed at strengthening developing countries’ response to the pan

demic.

Nigeria was conspicuously missing in the list of beneficiaries in a statement posted on the bank’s website, despite the country being one of the worst hit among developing countries. Also, the number of COVID-19 cases in the country is rising steadily, with about 200 infections recorded since February 27.

We dont deserve any help. Nigeria has enough but if only the looters will stop and refund what they have been looting.

God will bless World Bank.

This was the major reason why our leaders are increasing the number of cases to obtain favor for IMF/World bank fund support without showing us evidence of those with coronavirus symptoms as other nations do

Good!

😂😂

Better. The virus was welcomed in anticipation of this. Glad they're disappointed.

Very good, UN said we are doing well.

Bubu & co will increase the volume now 🤪

They know our govt is filled with looters. They will share the money before it gets to the country

We should not be considered at all because of our bad leaders

Just watch how our leaders will be shinning their eyes like thieves for being exempted.

Ooin 🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️

We will only hear about the money, then our leaders will share it amongst themselves

9ja don enter am, they are aware that we had leaders that aren't serious and selfish....

😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Yes congratulations 😀😀😀😀😃

They should beg via twitter handle where is minister of finance?

World bank needs to appoint an oversight team if they give Nigeria the money

Do we really need it when some friends to the useless government we have has donated close to 20billion already.

Nigeria don't need to support fund. We are sharing 20k for people. I learnt they shared to 2.6 million people in 2 days.

Don't even give them they will share it and not use it for the main purpose.

Ashiri tí ń tú o

Worldbank shouldn't bother cos our politicians are rich n greedy.

Amen...those that are locking down their States with no evidence of the virus should rethink...World Bank no bi mumu

billzcollecshun They hate us.

World Bank should just send the money directly into our accounts, immediately the money gets to FG, they'll use grammar to divert the money from it's intended use

This is serious o. Could this be a conspiracy? Nigeria ought to qualify as one of the first, and with a good chunk, because of the splinter effects viz: Population, precarious economy, wide spread 'dispersal', etc. Perhaps they gauge us by the 'potential' wealth of Nigeria,....

IAkhigbe

Cos they found out we aren’t transparent on our patients. We have tested n treated spirits who do not have names

Because they know our politicians will share the money amongst themselves

Now all of a sudden Nigerians go tamper with the list before today ends you go see 1000 deaths . I don’t trust this leaders at all

Completely support the move.

World Bank knows Nigerias official will steal the money

Better, because our politicians will steal the money ooh

Why should Nigeria be among the first batch when there are other countries that is terribly affected.

We dont need their help

𝑷𝒍𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒖𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔, 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆

We aren't anywhere near much trouble. They have to help countries at much risk first.

Until they are absolutely sure the funds won't be diverted into private pockets, as usual.

They shouldn’t give y’all shiit

They knew our leader will only embezzle the money so why putting us in first list when there are countries out there who's there leader will make good use of the fund

Better

At least they won't come and test the covid-19 vaccine on us

How can it be exemption when there are batches? Stupid toilet paper.

Hmm 🙄

I can guess why. While others were watching and waiting for World Bank/IMF to kick it off, billions were flowing from the cockpits of our PJs and bullion vans. Simple message: we already have N19.4B, don't worry!

Right choice

Good if not they will loot it all

They know they will loot the money they will realize from them

Wow 🤣🤓😂😆 Nigeria is in a state of mess

Because buhari accept 5G network to kill innocent citizens of Nigeria because he is not a Nigerian, after installation of 5G by Chinese in Nigeria you see that the killing will come up like other countries where 5G network is now China, Spain, Italy, UK etc

What do you expect. Local donation running into billions... loot able funds..

Who told you people 5G is evil ? Say what you don't know

Gambling of the world leaders tour. Africa be wise

The consequences of audio money

May our effort not gone in vain. Wahala yii po !

What Rank is Nigeria on List of Countries with High Confirmed Cases and Death Toll?

Even if they give us ,those politicians will surely loot everything ..

If the money doesn't come Corona Virus will soon disappear from Nigeria 😁😁

🤣🤣🤣🤣😋this one sweet me...Punch Newspapers you are doing well😋😋😋😋

Na so, I love that good for them, stupid leaders except my PMB

help us tell this people ! Our leaders ! We don’t need 5G in Nigeria ! 5G is evil 😈 We want stable lights, we want employment, we want a better life

Nice 1

'All I want to say that They don't really care about us' Michael Jackson

You see that, our leaders!!!!!!

abeg mak dem neva drop moni for Nigeria yet. dey shud use d money formerly donated to buy ventilators 1st n tell Nigerians wh d rest money has gone to.

That is what they want

We have collected 5G money nao

Better
