Sen Binos disclosed his status on Thursday during an interaction with newsmen at his Yola residence, saying it was his duty as a public official to take the steps he took.
“At the expiration of the 14 days, I submitted myself again to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control for examination. The NCDC interviewed me, and on the basis that I am not symptomatic after the mandatory self-isolation, saw no need to conduct further tests and subsequently has relieved me of all apprehensions,” Binos said.
He said he did this even before the NCDC advised self-isolation, in his interest and the interest of his family, friends and society.
