According to a statement signed by Ayade’s media aide, Christian Ita, no resident of the state would be allowed to move without a face mask starting Friday, April 3.

“Failure to adhere to this directive will lead to the arrest and quarantine of the offenders for 14 days. “Those who for one reason or the other are unable to get masks from government before the new restrictions kick in, are advised to purchase theirs from shops selling the item.”

Mask are meant for ill health people not for healthy people

Mask is the antedote right😏😏 Please stay safe, Stay at home.

And italy was with mask and many was infected. Simply stop some movement

Ayade (National Orientation) said MASK is not necessary, is for those that are managing it or those in frontline of this battle. Maybe he want to turn us to EGUNGUN MASCURADE, in Cross River

I urge everyone to use their own custom mask to cover their nose lets be mindful ,it is not every mask that is good for our use cut elastic (bandage)dress cut to size of ur face and make a little hole in the ends you will hook to the ear

This may cause a BIGGER PROBLEM for the people in Cross River State unless the government provides masks in mass, people may end up borrowing used mask from each other. I bet we know what that can result to !!!

Great. Shot down Itu-Odupkani boarder for now please.

好,为该州 点赞

He's got no knowledge. Or maybe he's saying every person is positive carrier of the virus in his state.

Mask just gives a false sense of protection, with rising price of the mask, the state should provide for its citizens if they feel that's the best way to go. StayAtHome StayIndoors that's the best bet. StopTheSpreadOfCorona CONVID19

You people are confused. WHO tweeted recently that only people who are infected or treating patients should wear mask. This policy is not valid.

SheerIgnoranceAndUnnecesaryOverZealousness SMH

Mumu ..did u provide any? Be talking trash

Imagine Mr governor... I wonder the kinda brain these idiots have

Oga which one u share

The virus is not airborne oo!!!bros abeg give ppl sanitizer ⚕

Better

Beautiful.......

And have the state governor provided masks for both rural and urban areas?. You can't make laws without provisions. Typical

Bad policy. The price will go up and health workers that actually need it will be unable to access them. What provisions has he made to the hospitals with regards to masks? Did any of the governor's ally have a mask producing company? This is counter-productive

Oga calm down, facemask stops nothing....stay at home and practice hygiene

Good idea but may expose people more bcos, there could be exchange btw people and with the high cost of it. I plead govt and philanthropist assist the masses with the mask.

Here is a governor with sense. Facemask would be costly but everyone that want to work would get it. Pople can even improvise with unused Ankara materials

I guess it's only in the state capital sha

the only advice i can give to all Nigerians is to get more gloves and nose masks in abundance, that's the only protection that's dependable until a vaccine is visible,if we must resume economic activities, nobody can be trusted

Good move.

Sir, I appreciate your efforts but pls we need cash to help us. Most of us are starving. Things are not moving the way its meant to. Pls help us

U want the people to make marks with their own skin stupid leaders everywhere

That's a good way to go.
