The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) on Tuesday published recommendations on returning to basketball despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The recommendations, which were published in the English, French and Spanish languages, are titled \u201cReturn to Basketball \u2013 Restart Guidelines for National Federations\u2019\u2019. A basketball-specific \u201cRisk Assessment Tool\u2019\u2019 has also been produced in collaboration with the World Health

The International Basketball Federation on Tuesday published recommendations on returning to basketball despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

FIBA is the world governing body for basketball and is an independent association formed by 213 national basketball federations throughout the world. NAN reports that the vast majority of basketball activities and competitions around the world had been halted in mid-March due to the pandemic. This was after his consultation with the FIBA COVID-19 Medical Advisory Group , and also both the FIBA Medical and Players Commissions.
