The Federal Government has admitted indicating interest to the World Health Organisation to be part of the global solidarity trial of medicines being tried to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic, and efforts on to also conduct research too in the country.

This is not a vaccine trial, people. This is a trial of drugs already used to treat pats with Covid. The drugs mentioned are already in use, including in Nigeria. Trial will just compare efficacy and side effects
