Two new entrants in the top-flight league in the female class, Bayelsa Queens and Confluence Queens met for the first time and it ended 26 to 14 in favour of the Yenagoa’s girls, while league leaders, the Imo Grasshoppers overpowered Defender Babes 24 to 19. “Winning the championship is not going to be easy, considering that many games will be played. I am hopeful we will improve on each of our game and reclaim the title. I know no team is weak in this championship, but how we play in every game will determine the result,” Yola stated.
