Worshippers at the 98th General Church Council of the Reformed Church of Christ in Nigeria in Taraba State were broken as a minute silence was observed for the over 30 members of the church, who were allegedly slaughtered in night attacks, recently, by suspected Fulani militias.
The militias reportedly attacked the Christians at Kwenten and other communities in Ussa Local Council of the state. The recent attacks on Taraba communities, which led to massive loss of life and property, according to the church, is to dispossess the communities of their traditional lands.
