CBN fails to curb inflation, halt naira slide, says report - Punch Newspapers

Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri on Thursday granted the Nigerian Air Force request that special air force personnel be integrated into the security component of the Bayelsa International Airport to ensure adequate security at the aviation facility.

Diri also granted request for land to build a new residential quarters for the Nigerian Air Force Mobility Command at the New Yenagoa City in the state capital. The governor acceded to the requests when he received the new Air Officer Commanding Mobility Command of the Nigerian Air Force, Yenagoa, Air Vice Marshal Iboro Etuk-Udoh, in Government House.

Diri, who charged Etuk-Udoh to consolidate on the gains already recorded in the area of security of the state, consequently directed management of the airport to commence the process of integrating special air force personnel to ensure the airport was made safer. While commending the air force for proposing to build befitting quarters for its officers, he directed the Commissioner for Lands and Housing to immediately make land available as requested by the new commander.All rights reserved.
