The University of Alberta will be hosting two Nigerian award-winning writers and scholars, Jumoke Verissimo; and Uchechukwu Umezurike, at the Canadian Literature Centre Brown Bag Reading, on January 27.The three writers are doctoral students and scholars at the University of Alberta, Canada. The CLC Brown Bag Reading is a programme of the Faculty of Arts at the university.

A statement on the official website of centre said it aimed to bring together authors, scholars, publishers, collectors and readers to celebrate the strength and diversity of Canada’s written culture and promote reading, and appreciation of Canadian literatures, in English and in French.All rights reserved.
