The Governor on Saturday through his spokesman, Mamman Mohammed, condoled with the family of Alhaji Haruna Ahmed, who lost three children in the incident with one in critical condition.
DAILY POST reported yesterday that a 22-year-old housewife, Khalida Yakubu, of the Makara-Huta area of Potiskum town was apprehended by detectives for allegedly poisoned four stepchildren. The governor said the state had lost a humble personality whose wealth of experience and lifestyle were needed to model and counsel the young generation to add value to the future of the state.
Buni described him as an epitome of humility and a community leader with a passion to serve. “He spent his last days on earth serving humanity”.
