The Nigerian government has dared the Indigenous People of Biafra over the group’s threat that the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State would not hold.
The group had also said there would be a seven-day lockdown of the South-East Zone, called sit-at-home protest.However, ahead of the election, the Inspector-General of Police , Usman Baba, has ordered not less than 100 senior police officers to coordinate the provision of adequate security in the state.
Egbunike led the panel that investigated the allegations against the suspended commander of the IGP Intelligence Response Team that he had shady dealings with a self-confessed internet fraudster, Abass Ramon, aka Hushpuppi.
