Chelsea will tackle Brentford in an away Premier League clash after the international break, but Silva won’t feature in that derby clash after heading to South America for Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela, Colombia and Uruguay.
The last game of that triple-header, Brazil’s home clash with Uruguay in Manaus, is not scheduled to kick-off until 01:30 am BST on Friday. Providing an update on Silva, Tuchel was quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying: “He will go and then he will play for Brazil and then he will come back on the matchday versus Brentford.“Like it or not, what can I do? Is it a good solution for us as a club? No. But we cannot hold him back.“There is no choice and it is something we have to live with.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea are presently on top of the Premier League table with 16 points from 7 games following their 3-1 win over Southampton at the weekend.
