In this file photo taken on July 15, 2020 Nigerian former Foreign and Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala smiles during a press conference in Geneva, following her hearing before World Trade Organization 164 member states' representatives, as part of the application process to head the WTO as Director General. - European Union members states agreed on October 26, 2020 to back the candidacy of former Nigerian finance ministrer Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to lead the WTO.
She said in a statement made available to our correspondent in Abuja that Nigeria was persuading the United States to adopt the Nigerian candidate as WTO DG following the overwhelming support which Okonjo-Iweala had garnered. The Chairperson, WTO General Council, Amb. David Walker, of New Zealand, with the facilitators of the selection process, among others, on October 28, 2020, at the meeting of WTO Heads of Delegation in Geneva, informed the members of the organisation that Okonjo-Iweala secured overwhelming support of members.
However, the United States has registered reservations on the outcome of the final round in view of the fact that their preference is still the candidate of South Korea.
What has been the masses gain in economy and development since all this dads & mum have held offices and high statutes. Their kids had the best education aboard, do they come home to implement no! Whosoever wins the DG Goodluck. The news reaches out to USA sucks.

A country that has kept her Southern borders to neighbouring countries closed for a year+, does everything to stifle free trade and kills businesses with arbitrary taxes and ad-hoc anti commerce government policies. This is rather hypocritical of the mbuhari regime.
She has already won this raise but there's some thing's attached to this everyone knows that okonjo iweala she is not a bad person but is good to be good what goes around comes around that is nature for you, she is not the fault.
Follow me and I follow back ASAP

Left to the reputation of Nigeria as a country to the United States of America, our Government is wack... Don't even stress it, Iweala will win... That's what a good reputation can do for you...
She's a great woman, no doubt about that, but the US must oppose her appointment, her ideology does not go far enough to bring the much needed change at the WTO, realDonaldTrump you must maintain course to restructure the WTO on the principle adopted after WWII
There are just about 300,000 Nigerians eligible to vote in the U.S... there are close to 2,000,0000 Koreans eligible to vote in the U.S, common sense dictates you stick to the Koreans to get their vote next week. Nobody likes that other woman, not even Americans..
