Special envoys sent by President Ramaphosa of South Africa to President Muhammadu Buhari have arrived the Presidential Villa, Abuja, for a meeting with the Nigerian President.
The envoys, led by the Acting South African High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Bobby Monroe, arrived at the Villa by 2.15pm.The visit followed a similar act by Buhari, who a week back, sent the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Rufai-Abubakar, to Ramaphosa to register Nigeria’s concerns over the attacks.
The meetings are part of efforts to end the attacks and halt a major diplomatic rift between Nigeria and South Africa.
