BREAKING: Many injured as gas explodes in Iju, Lagos

Many people were injured in a gas explosion that occurred at Iju Ishaga, Lagos State on Thursday.also gathered that buildings around the scene of the explosion suffered partial collapse.An eyewitness, Ikechukwu, said, “We just heard a loud sound around 03.30 pm and we suddenly began to see smoke. The explosion is massive and we are not sure of the casualties, but many people are injured.”He noted that emergency responders have arrived at the scene of the incident.

“LASEMA Response Team is at Cele Bus Stop, Iju Ishaga. There is a gas explosion. Operation ongoing,” he added.

It's our government that's is coursing all this because if train as been what we used instead of tanker

That Iju inbound Ajuwon road is not a good road for cars talkless of tankers. It's narrow, bad and it's also a hill. This is not the first time this will be happening but nothing is done. I hope our careless government will do something on that route cos it's a major route
