Acting Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba, has ordered the immediate disbandment of the IGP Monitoring Satellite Offices in Lagos and Port Harcourt over complaints of harassment and operating beyond their briefs by Nigerians.
Speaking at his maiden meeting with Command Police Commissioners and zonal AIGs, in Abuja on Thursday, Baba said the IGP Monitoring Units will be re-organised. The development is coming 24 hours after the Police Service Commission asked the IGP to check the proliferation of police investigating units.
What are they monitoring? Until they learn to do their work professionaly, with human face & fear of God, their monitoring will yield nothing
Story
What are they monitoring? Obviously to monitor vehicles with illegal refined petroleum products to collect their 'cuts'. U will see dem positioned at strategic areas, but their eyes is gazed at these 'kpo fire' vehicles. They can easily identify dem. Bloody sets of individuals!
As police monitoring units is good so also is corrupt. The officers in the units always use IGP's name to make money for themselves. How can you find just little amount with your colleagues and you collect times three as bribe? Who's monitoring IGP's unit? No saint.
OPC should take over pending their reforming 😂
Is time we all start fighting for our self. As you pray for God protection, look for how to protect yourself
Don't tell me that they are leaving the streets empty without any monitoring units? This is very wrong.
cryptocurrencies airdrop alert.
