BREAKING: Gov El-Rufai sacks 99 political appointees

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El Rufai has sacked over 90 of his political appointees.

The Governor stated this at a media chat with journalists in Kaduna on Thursday night, explaining that the disengaged political appointees constitute 30% of political officeholders. “We want to be fair with regards to civil servants. We had earlier promised that before we reduce the size of the civil service, we will start with political appointees and we have done that.”

Like we are supposed to be surprised This is their mode of operation - cyclical rotation of their cult members for their sole purpose of getting their own share of the national cake.

Another format to loot 😜….Guess the northerns will invest their 100m here.

We dare to ask why a mammoth 99 political appointees were appointed in the first place by a government that has always spoken loudly of cutting the cost of governance?

99 political appointees and that is 30% of them, so you still have 231 political appointees, doing what sir. You don't need more than 100 political appointees in that state, to run her efficientlly.

99? Jesus! State fund being wasted

Playing a script?

Is it that they did not open the door on time or what?

That's the smallest size of appointment by any govt. Chaiiiii
