The exercise was initially slated to end in June 2022 before the calls to extend the CVR exercise came, following the increase in registrants.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has agreed to extend the ongoing Continuous Voters' Registration exercise by 60 days.

It also reported that the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, had stopped the electoral body from ending the exercise until all eligible voters had been registered. “The Committee held a meeting with INEC yesterday and they agreed to extend the CVR, all our resolutions were approved,” she told members of the House at plenary on Wednesday.

Election day date will be postpone

60days is not enough. inecnigeria follow the law. You can only close registration 3months before election. Go and bring all your workers from other African countries back to Nigeria and register NIGERIANS!!!! Don’t worry, we will secretly investigate and expose you clowns.

rigged election!

rigged election

Extending suffering and smile to 60days

Why Closing the Registration? It should be a continuous exercise. To allow those who will turn 18years before the election to exercise there voting rights and all that.

Voting is a major scam in the zoo nigeria

This are fulani children with PVC 😂😂😂😂

Unah never c anything. Unah must b Obidient nah . Obedient nah unah mate !

Power belongs to the people that's the fact!💪💪💪💪💪💪.

Please there's more to be done... INEC extending deadlines doesn't help it they don't speed up the process of Registration. How can a polling unit of about 700 be using only one machine.

Please, the on-line portal too also be re-opened to ease the pressure and queue at the INEC offices.

Good to know inecnigeria, it remain provision of machines for PVC registrations. Please don't hoard PVC machines the way those ruling elders hid COVID19 Pallative. Your Staffs should be patriotic enough to serve without being biased or corrupt. TakeBackNaija

Nice move there.

They shouldn't be bowing to pressure. They should follow what is stipulated in electoral laws. That way,you see that this their 'bowing to pressure ' is falling short of the law.

Voters' registration should be a continuous process to allow more eligible people to vote during the elections. It is a laudable decision by the electoral body to extend the process by two months .

They don't have any option but to bow to the wishes of NIGERIANS

inecnigeria,yiure doing well

The victory is at our doorstep. We’re OBIdient

No be to extend registration for 60days be the issue. My question: will people have their Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) before 2023 general election

inecnigeria please we need more machines and staff too. We've heard enough of come today come tomorrow. Please do something

Fair but 3months is better. With more machines and officers/operators

Nice but inecnigeria we still need more machines

I commend inecnigeria for this gesture thank you for standing by the poeple. I still support you to resist every temptation and intimidation from any party to compromise your standard. You are the only hope left to restore true democrazy & hope in our electoral process.

These BAT guys are Paid Vampires. Welldone INEC if it is true. Recruit more staff and machines. Tinubu has no business contesting in a sane country. So you see truth and call it a lie? Please try not probe PeterObi as you have lost all your senses of right and wrong.

Get ur pvc and vote for peter obi 2023. Let chase away those old criminals out the country

Dem no get choice

Dem no get choice!

It's not about 60 more days it's about giving enough machines for use , cause the previous reg extend, was not so productive in some region. So let them as well create more machines and labourers, if they don't have, we the youths are willing to work.

We move

Hope we can now do it online

They should please now make transfer of PVC available in States like where elections were recently held, like Ekiti.

Yes, they have to now go about providing the necessary logistics to accommodate the large numbers of electorates that are now seriously conscious of thier voting right in order to change the killer change..Peter Obi, na u biko...

Not enough

This is effect of OBIdience 💪🏾💪🏾 Let's go there. 2023 is for PeterObi4President2023

Nigerian Youths it's 'Operation Take Back your Nigeria'! Please don't wait for the 59th Day to get your PVCs...It is an Emergency and Delay is Dangerous...

Sahara Reporters and INEC are stooges of the Caliphate. What INEC does or does not do is immaterial. In the past, Card Readers malfunctioned in certain areas. Many citizens did not get their PVC before an election was conducted in the past. The Nigerian System is designed to fail

Why Not? . Our God is at work.

Good News

A big win for Nigeria and Nigerians. No more excuse for those who still refuse to get their PVCs after this extension. If you still don’t get it then it’s obvious the camp to belong to. That camp that prefers Nigeria the way it is. 2023NigeriaElections

Very Good, we will all obediently have our PVC, to do the needful

As it should be. Voters registration should be a continuous process

Reopen online registration

Good News IMO

What plans do Gowogeria have in mind for those outside country

Aloysiusa80 The next question is what they do with the 60 days...WE DO NOT WANT 60 UNPRODUCTIVE DAYS

Thanks to the peter obi effect

They never see anything

Your abandoned city can still become mega as Lagos only if you can strive for your PVC and vote for Tinubu

Just 60days

The power of d PVC is far stronger than a bullet. PeterObi2023 is a sure tsunami waiting to happen in Nigeria come 2023

Good move

Why can't INEC open up online registration to help reduce the crowd and the stress at the registration centers?

Nigeria won Nigerians won The youth won The power of the people is greater than the people in power

Is so embarrassing & appalling that inecnigeria needed to be sued to do the right thing.may INEC not be used by this old fools to destroy Nigeria but if INEC allow itself to be use…. It will be bad for everyone in & outside Nigeria

It's a welcome development, but it is not an excuse for Nigerians without PVC to also extend their opportunity to GoGetYourPVC. Avoid the rush hour and do the needful. With our collective votes, we can elect the Leaders we need from Top To Bottom & hold our self responsible.

Which level be this one no dey follow Court order

YarKafanchan They shouldn’t only extend the registration, they should also make more machine available so that people won’t have to stand for a long time in order to get registered

inecnigeria , Thank you for this. Kindly do us well to reopen the online portal registration. Thank you.

Small win, eyes on the trophy while being obidient.

Dem nuh geh shoice.

Apply more pressure

Wow, this is a good news of a change to a new Nigeria. peterobiforpresident2023

Extend online registration too inecnigeria

You think the pressure is ordinary, the spirits of the innocent souls killed by the APC government is included with the pressure !!

They should also open their online portal for people to register and also deploy more machines

They should also provide more machines otherwise they'll keep on extending it.

That's a great choice.

This people are not ready for election, it’s not extending it where are the machines in the south

There you have it !OBIdeients.
