BREAKING: Court sentences Proprietor who killed Hanifa to death via politicsngr

The Kano State High Court on Thursday sentenced Abdulmalik Tanko, the mastermind of the abduction and murder of a 5-year-old school girl, Hanifa Abubakar, to death by hanging.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Tanko is the Proprietor of Nobel Kids Academy and North West Preparatory School, who admitted to have poisoned young Hanifa, despite receiving some ransom.Justice Na’abba also convicted Tanko to five years imprisonment for four count charges leveled against him. The trio of Tanko alongside his accomplice, Hashim Isyaku and Fatima Jibrin were arraigned before the court by the Kano State government on five count charges bordering on criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, confinement and culpable homicide contrary to section 97, 274, 277, 221 of the penal code. They have been to court severally since they were apprehended in early January.
